Ter gelegenheid van het symposium 'Onderstroom' verscheen in kleine oplage In de Schaduw Schuilt een Lied met illustraties van de bijbehorende tentoonstelling van olieverf schilderijen.

On the occasion of the symposium Undercurrent, a limited edition of my Dutch poetry was published, featuring illustrations from the accompanying exhibition of oil paintings. The exhibition was held in 2006 at the Carmelite Monastery in Ghent.
HAIGA
For the textual addition to the DarkEnsemble Rampike album I chose to write in the strict haiku and tanka form. Traditional the theme relates to moments of contemplation in nature, constructing a natural scenic metaphors. This was the perfect fit for our work .
The two musical composition house a collection of 23 poems.
Assembling poems and drawings I enter the realm of Haiga (俳画, haikai drawing).

The Shape of Ruin
Words rarely emerge from silence. Language carries traces of memory, power, grief, and perception.
The moment words are spoken, they fracture, distort, disappear, and return in altered forms.
This video brings together poetry, improvisation, and dissonance — saxophone, double bass, percussion, and manipulated sound moving around the text like memory, mourning, and resistance.
My work often exists in that space: between history and imagination, between what is recorded and what is erased.
